Shelby Uphoff started the Central Lakes Raiders, ranked fifth in NJCAA Division III, off with one good serve and kept them coming throughout the entire first game, making her the first Raiders volleyball player to knock out 25 serves in a row as the Raiders beat Fond Du Lac 3-0 in a Northern Division match Wednesday night.
“Serving 25 in a row, that is very unusual,” said Raiders coach Jane Peterson. “Usually somebody makes a mistake. It’s never happened here.”
