The win streak ends a 13 with two losses by the Central Lakes College volleyball team on Saturday at Wahpeton, N.D., where the Raiders droppeda pair of contests to Division II scholarship teams from Bismarck State, N.D. (3-0) and Williston, N.D. (3-1). The opponents are much better units than those CLC had been facing in recent outings, according to Coach Jane Peterson. Nevertheless, there were some good efforts. Sami Knott (shown)had eight kills and seven digs against Bismarck State. Sarah Miller totaled 16 digs. Tiffany Hartung had 23 set assists, and Lindsay Monson provided six kills. Against Williston, the Raiders won the first game, 25-21, before losing the next three. Alanna Hansen had 12 kills and two blocks. Tiffany added 32 set assists and 12 digs in a strong effort. Lindsay had 10 kills, five aces serves, five digs, and four blocks to her credit. The Raiders (14-5) were tougher against Williston than Bismarck, losing by 23-25, 18-25, 21-25. Against Bismarck they lost, 14-25, 19-25, 16-25.
